April Favourites.

It's gonna be MAY! (actually, it's already May but yeah...)
So that means another month has past and I thought that was a perfect excuse for another blogpost! My very first favourites.

The first thing I've been loving is the Sublime Skin BB cream 6 in 1 by Yves Rocher (1). I've looking for a nice BB cream for a while because my foundation was a bit heavy and it wasn't great for my skin. So I asked around and eventually I found myself in the Yves Rocher shop asking for their BB cream. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and my skin has most definitely improved. I love how it's very light and hydrating.
You can find the product here.

My favourite scents in the whole world are floral an fruity scents and that's why am in love with the "I love juicy" shampoo from Lush (2) and the fragrance Daisy by Marc Jacobs (3). My hair literally smells like a smoothie! I flip my hair so much just to smell it, it's sooooo good!
The perfume has always been my favourite one but since it's spring again, I decided to put it between my favourites. Because it's literally an all time favourite of mine.

I want to sleep al long as I can (who doesn't?) so I needed something that made my make up routine as quick as possible. The thing that takes the longest are my eyes. I heard a lot of people rave about the L'Oreal Paris Superliner Perfect Slim (4), so I decided to give it a go and I bought it in the colour Intense Black. Unbelievable how easy it is to apply! It literally just takes 3 minutes to do both eyes and it looks amazing. I would most definitely recommend it! You can find it in any drug store, but here's a link where you can order it.

For my next favourite, I have Tanya Burr to thank for. In her 2013 favourites video, she talks about the Revlon Lip Butters (5) and I really liked the way she described them. I went to the store and bought one in the colour Berry Smoothie because I wanted a nice and natural pink colour. I must say, it was the perfect colour for me. I've been using it non-stop for the last 3 weeks and I'm still loving it so much. So thanks, Tanya!
You should definitely check out her YouTube Channel, it's so great!
You can order one here.

I had a lot of skin problems lately. My skin was very dry so I tried some body butter after showering. It helped quite a lot and I've been using the Papaya Body Butter by The Body Shop (6). Unfortunately, they don't sell it anymore but they have lots of different new ones that smell absolutely wonderful. It lasts a very long time, so you basically smell like a papaya for the rest of the day!

I didn't choose the pug life, the pug life chose me. This is literally me in one sentence. I ADORE pugs! Especially my very own pug, Piper. So you must understand my excitement when I saw this awesome Pug Make Up Bag by Catseye (7). I bought it at Urban Outfiters in Berlin and I've been using it ever since for storing my everyday make up. But you can also purchase it here if you're too lazy ;)

I'll try to read a book every month from now on, as you might know if you read my previous blogpost. In April it was Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert (8). It tells the story of a woman who wants to find balance in her life again. So she decides to take a year of and travel to 3 countries: Italy, India and Indonesia. In Italy, she'll try to eat great food and enjoy life. In India, she's trying to find her spirituality. And finally, in Bali, she'll be trying to find the perfect balance between the two previous things. It's an absolute pleasure to read if you love to travel.
You can purchase the book here.

My final favourite is something I couldn't put in the picture and that's the CW TV-show The 100. I am in love with it! It's kind of hard to explain what it's about but the best way to put it is The Hunger Games meets Lost. You can watch the trailer here to get a beter image of the show. It's definitely worth checking out!

That was about it for my April Favourites! There will be more of these in the future, I swear. I told myself to blog more, so that's why I started these. To oblige myself to blog at least once a month. Hope you enjoyed it!

Lots of love,
Yente.
